Martin Secker, 1921. Penguin paperback 1960.
Many people will have seen Ken Russell's film of this novel, and should recognise at least the first of these extracts as an episode in the film.
While Lawrence didn't (so far as I know) advocate naturism as such, it isn't unusual for his characters to experience sensuous and sensual nudity. Gudrun's frustrated plea at the end of the first extract, while actually about sexual inequality, could be taken out of context and be exclaimed by naturists of either sex on many occasions.
